COOKER socket - NEMA 14-50R (3 vertical holes plus earthing)

1. Total weather protection, designed to withstand the Quebec climate. The box closes completely, whether the terminal is plugged in or not.

2. Locking mechanism (padlock not included): provides additional security against theft. It also reduces the risk of electrocution by children.

3. Reduces labour costs for the electrical contractor during installation. All the contractor has to do is run the cable from the dedicated circuit breaker to the enclosure. The NEMA 14-50R plug is already assembled in the enclosure.

4. The enclosure is CSA NEMA 3R CERTIFIED.

Note 1: This is the same type of outlet as your cooker (oven) at home.

Note 2: We strongly recommend, if possible, that you install a 50A breaker instead of a 40A, even if you install a 30A terminal. This is for future considerations.

Note 3: We recommend this plug (Cooker) instead of the welder plug because the car manufacturers seem to have chosen this standard.
